Peermont is South Africa's most empowered hospitality and gaming company.  We have an excellent track record in the design, development, management, ownership and operation of multi-faceted integrated resorts. This includes hotels, casinos, convention centres, retail outlets, restaurants, bars and other sport and entertainment facilities. Our world-class status is achieved by combining the dominant shareholding, values and traditions of local communities with exceptional service, unparalleled products and incredible attention to detail.

We operate a total of 14 properties, nine in South Africa and five in Botswana. Together, these properties offer 1 312 hotel rooms, 3 232 slot machines and 146 gaming tables. Recent development announcements include a fourth hotel at Emperors Palace, a new casino resort development in Richards Bay and a new hotel and convention centre at the Rio Casino Resort in Klerksdorp adding a further 318 rooms to Peermont's portfolio. Khoroni Hotel, Casino and Convention Resort (previously Tusk Venda) has recently undergone a total refurburshmnet sporting new Afro-Chic decor, a new Malingani Restaurant and upgraded conference facilities. Tusk Mmabatho will also soon receive a major refurb.

Peermont has won numerous awards for Africa's Leading Casino Resort at the World Travel Awards 2006 and 2007 for Emperors Palace Hotel, Casino, Convention Resort; the World Quality Gold Crown Award 2007 for the D'oreale Grande Hotel at Emperors Palace; the World Quality Commitment Gold Award 2007 for Peermont Hotels, Casinos and Resorts and a host of Professional Management Review Awards during 2006 and 2007 for a number of our properties (The Grand Palm in Botswana, Graceland in Secunda and Emperors Palace in Gauteng) to name a few.
