Emperors Palace Donates Linen to the Value of R2,9 Million

The Palace of Dreams supports 9 Ekurhuleni charities donation of assortment of hotel linen

With the festive season in full swing, Emperors Palace made the holidays a little brighter for 9 local charities who support the less fortunate in the Ekurhuleni area. R2,9 million in used and new linen consisting of feather duvets, sheets, pillowcases, curtains, throws, towels, and other hotel room accessories were donated with the purpose of making a difference over the festive season.

‘Giving back to the community has always been very important at Emperors Palace,’ says Peermont Hospitality Executive Dave Milne, whose team spearheaded the initiative. ‘For many this year has been difficult and we are happy to have made the festive season a little merrier for some in our community.’

The linen donations will go towards helping old age homes and orphanages in the Ekurhuleni area and will comprise of Tembisa Welfare, Vosloorus Old Age Home, EL-Shammah Home, Kid’s Haven,

Boksburg Old Age Home, Benoni Sathya Centre, Barney House, Msakhane ECD Centre and Hlakanang ECD.
