CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

HELPING WHERE WE CAN

Peermont believes in changing lives. CSI is not merely about charity and handouts, it’s about making positive and self-sustaining change. That’s why we live up to our principles of partnering with the local communities in which we operate. Under our three pillars, we strive to empower, collaborate and provide a platform of sustainability.

Peermont prides itself on being a leader in the local gaming industry, with a total of 11 operations in different locations (8 in South Africa and 3 in Botswana). Our purpose is to conduct business profitably, whilst fulfilling our obligation to improve the well-being of the communities in which each of our properties operates. We are proud to help where we can.

EDUCATION AND YOUTH DEVELOPMENT

Providing disadvantaged children and youth with the educational tools and access to quality education remains vitally important to us. Our levels of learning include the foundation phase all the way through to university scholarships and career development.

COMMUNITY INFRASTRUCTURE

Improving infrastructure, safety and social services is the main priority of this pillar. These Peermont CSI initiatives consist of community support and financial investments to the surrounding areas in which we operate.

ENTREPENEURIAL DEVELOPMENT

Financially supporting small and micro enterprises and self-help projects uplifts the socio-economic status of marginalised beneficiaries. Our Entrepreneurial Development pillar provides grant funding to these budding businessmen and businesswomen.
