Every year the Peermont Education Trust (PET), a CSI programme of Peermont’s flagship resort, Emperors Palace, grants all-expenses paid scholarships (valued at approximately R170 000 each) to deserving Ekurhuleni youngsters.
This year the Trust decided to award 10 bursaries with the 14 youngsters who made the shortlist, from over 600 applicants, interviewed by a panel of five Peermont Trustees and two Alumni of the PET at the Palace of Dreams on 18 January.
