EMPD Celebrates 20 Years

On 14 March Emperors Palace was proud to host the 20th-anniversary celebrations of the Ekurhuleni Police department (EMPD) in conjunction with Reach for a Dream. The highlight of the event was the swearing-in of 20 Reach for a Dream recipients who became honorary police officers for the day and participated in a series of EMPD demonstrations. The event was covered by local radio station Ekurhuleni FM and hosted the new executive mayor Campbell and other dignitaries which included EMPD commissioner Mapiyeye.
The event was to showcase the strides made by local law enforcement in the community and make the dreams of young children come true. #20Dreams
